We begin our trek with an exciting mountain flight to Lukla. Then continue through Sherpa village, a long gurgling river and across high suspension bridges, meeting zobkyo (family of yak) caravan on the way. Entering the Sagarmatha National Park we arrive at Namche Bazaar, a colorful, bustling market with traders from the surrounding villages as well as from far-away Tibet. We continue on to the Tengboche monastary within the imposing peak of Thamserku looming over the trail. From Tengboche the views of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse and Ama Dablam are sensational.

Day 1
Day 1: Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport

Arrive in Kathmandu at any time. Our airport symbolic will welcome you and provide the detail program further. As we don’t have any planned activities, we check into the hotel and rest for the day. Enjoy your overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2
Day 2: Kathmandu Valley tour

Kathmandu is a small city enriched with 7 world heritage site declared by UNESCO. Some of these man-made marvels are as old as 2500 years. This day we will visit some UNESCO sites Pashupatinath is one of the holiest shrines of all Hindus. It is located in the eastern part of Kathmandu valley on the bank of Bagmati River. Two tire magnificent golden temple has four triple silver doorways is a unique example of Nepalese temple architecture. Having the area of approx. 2.5 kilometers it is one of the largest Hindu temples in South-Asia. The main temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva which is believed to be 2000 years old. Also hundreds of ancient lingam, shrines, icons and statues of different Hindu Gods and Goddesses can be seen in the temple. The Boudhanath stupa It is one of the largest and oldest monuments of Nepal, standing 36m high. Surrounded by many private colorful houses Boudhanath Stupa is considered as Mecca for Tibetan Buddhists. The Stupa is built in mandals style having three levels of platform. There is no written document about who and when the stupa was built. Yet according to the legend it is believed that it was built by a poor lady with her four sons in fifth century AD. Kathmandu Durbar square Popularly known as Hanuman Dhoka Palace -an ancient seat of Nepalese Royalty lies in the heart of capital city. It is a complex of tremendous variety of temples, courtyards and palaces like Hanumandhoka Palace, Kumari Ghar (Abode of the Living Goddess), Taleju temple (used to be the seat of the ancient Malla Kings of Kathmandu. The Durbar Square, a UNESCO world Heritage Site, is still a focal point for social and religious ceremonies. Till date, all major state and social ceremonies are celebrated here.

Day 3
Day 3: Trek to Phakding (2652m/8699ft, 3 hours) Of Lukla

You will be transferred to the airport for Lukla flight in the early morning. The flight to Lukla is a lifetime experience in itself as the two ends of the runway is just 60 meters away. From here we trek to Pakding along with the green landscape and beautiful view of Kusum Kangaru. Overnight at Guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Day 4
Day 4: Namche Bazaar (3440m /11283 ft, 6 hours) From Phakding

This day we move along with the Dudh Koshi river. Ascend through the Himalayan pine and cedar forest to Namche Bazaar. The village of Namche is a historic trading post where Nepalese and Tibetan traders exchange salt, dried meat and textiles. Namche bazaar is also popular within the merchants for trading traditional crafts. Therefore, apart from being splendid destination for tourists it is also the central trading post in Khumbu for Himalayan and lowland merchants. For acclimatization, We will spend 2 days with our team and visit local markets. Also hike and capture the glimpses of Mount Everest and other neighboring peaks. Overnight at Guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Day 5
Day 5: Namche Bazar and Everest View Hotel

This day is especially sectioned for acclimatization. We will make a short hike to Syangboche Airport (3700m). It was supposed to be the highest airport in the world at 3700m. Further, we continue our hike to Everest View Hotel for panoramic views of Everest, Amadablam, Tawache etc. Also, visit Everest Photo Gallery and Sherpa Culture Museum on return. Overnight at Guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Day 6
Day 6: Trek From Namche To Tengboche (3860m/12660ft, 5 hours)

Today we have an easy and uniform trail leading us to the view of Mount Everest. It is the spiritual center of the Khumbu. We continue our trip descending into the Dudh Koshi valley at Pungki Thanka. The trail then ascends at the right edge of Dudh Koshi valley to Tengboche Monastery (3860m). The views of Mt. Amadablam and Mt. Everest and its surrounding peaks are marvelous. The satisfying views adequately compensate our long and lengthy climb. Overnight at Guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Day 7
Day 7: Tengboche to Dingboche (4410m/14464ft, 5 hours)

It is the one of the interesting days of the trip as we will not lose altitude and enjoy the views of Mt. Amadablam, Mt. Lhotse & other peaks. We descend via a beautiful forest, Imja Khola and trek through the village of Pangobche (3900m). The route continues through pastures to Dingboche, known as the ‘summer valley’. Overnight at Guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Day 8
Day 8: Dingboche to Nagerjun (5100m/16728ft) and return Duration

This would be your second acclimatization day that requires about 6 hours of trekking to an altitude of 5100m. After breakfast, you ascend Nagarjun (5100m), a hill located on the flanks of the Chhukung valley directly above Dingboche. The main aim is to climb high and sleep low. The foot path becomes steep at times, resulting in a physically strenuous day. Ascending the hill could take up to 5 hours at altitude. From this altitude there are good views of Lobuche East (6119m), Lobuche West (6145m), Taboche Peak (6367m), Thamserku (6608m), Kangtega (6685m) and Ama Dablam (6856m). On a clear day, you could even see Makalu, the world’s fifth highest mountain, including great views of the Pheriche Valley. After a short rest, you start the descent back to Dingboche and the walk at altitude takes about 2 hours. After lunch, take a well-deserved rest, as afternoon temperatures could drop rapidly as the sun sets over the mountain tops. You will also spend a second night in Dingboche. Day 9
Day 9: Trek From Dingboche to Lobuche (4910m/16105ft, 5 hours)

Trek along a broad valley floor to Dughla, passing the Trekkers Aid Post at Pheriche (4240 m). This trek is staffed by western volunteer doctors and supported by the Himalayan Rescue Association, which offers treatment and consultation to trekkers. Continue up the valley, gaining altitude. Finally, we arrive out of the valley and descend towards yak pastures of Laobuche. Overnight at Guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Day 10
Day 10: Trek to EBC (5364m/17594ft) & back to Gorekshep (5181m/16994ft, 8 hours)

A short climb via meadows and look down to the Khumbu glacier. Straight ahead is Kalapattar – the best vantage point to view the entire south face of Mt. Everest and the surrounding peaks. After a couple of hours we will get to Gorekshep, and continue our journey to the Everest base camp. The route do not elevate much, yet the ups and downs along with altitude can make the day exhausting. You will arrive at the base camp and enjoy a magnificent view of the Khumbu glacier and ice-fall, it will take approximately 3 hrs of hiking time , from where the Everest expeditions begin. Day 11
Day 11: Kalapattar (5545m/18188ft) - Gorekshep - Pheriche (4210m/13809ft) 7 hours

We start the day with a hike to Klapattar (5545m). It is the best view point for witnessing Mount Everest in all its glory and the spectacular Himalayan range. For breakfast we will move towards Goreshep and then move down to Pheriche. Night stay at Guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included there.

Day 12
Day 12: Trek to Namche (3440m/11283ft, 7 hours)

We have an easy walk today. The easy trail passes via Imja Khola, small climb to Tengboche, descend to Pungki Thanka. We encounter totally steep trail to Kyangjuma, and finally easy way to Namche.Rest in a Guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Day 13
Day 13: Trek from Namche to Lukla (2800m/9184ft, 7 hours)

The trekking route stretches along with Dudh Koshi River to Lukla. The trek ends here at small mountain airstrip and catch flight to Kathmandu. Overnight at Guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Day 14
Day 14: Return From Lukla to Kathmandu

30-minutes amazing scenic fly back to Kathmandu. Overnight at Hotel, breakfast included.

Day 15
Day 15: Rest Day at Kathmandu

This day, you can relax and have a tour at city or go for shopping at Thamel(the tourist hub). Overnight stay at hotel

Day 16
Day 16: Farewell

Breakfast at hotel and approximately 3 hours before the scheduled flight, a representative from the Royal Mountain Trekking will take you to the airport.
